The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore Lisbon. This evening\, join your Mayflower staff and fellow\ntravelers for an included dinner. Meal: D \nDAY 3 Lisbon: After breakfast\, an included tour highlights the famous sites of the city. During a panoramic coach tour\, see\n‘Monument to the Discoveries\,’ and Belem Tower\, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Jerónimos Monastery and discover the\nunique architecture and history. Enjoy a free afternoon to shop\, dine and experience this cosmopolitan city on your own. Meal: B \nDAY 4 Fátima – Coimbra – Porto: Depart Lisbon by coach and journey to the ship in Porto. Designated a UNESCO\nWorld Heritage Site\, this area is sparsely populated by quaint villages\, sun-drenched vineyards and small farms. Later today\,\narrive in the village of Pinhão\, perfectly situated on a river bend surrounded by terraced hillsides that produce some of the\nworld’s best Port wine. Learn about wine production\, its importance to the culture and economy\, and\nenjoy a tasting of the local vintage. SUMMARY:ALASKA 2025 ADVENTURE TRIP
DESCRIPTION:The presentation given by Collette on June 5th is on the Crescent website along with the link for online registration. Trip is May 13-25 or 26\, 2025. All CSC gateway cities are included in the price and are an option on the registration. The price is good until November 14th at which time the open seats are released and price of air is based at time of sign up. Due to flights into Fairbanks arriving very late at night\, the TLs agree that we will add a day to the package\, so flights will be on May 13th and add the extra night hotel into the pricing. Pricing may appear high but does include 6-night land and 7-day Holland America cruise with 26 meals\, cancel for any reason insurance ($599)\, cruise port fees ($684) and air with taxes and fees. Remember you are flying into Fairbanks and out of Vancouver. CSC also hopes that land tips will be covered. There are 8 ETMM already going. Price: Inside cabin $6146\, Window $6746 and balcony $7346. Collette travelers in last year get 5% off. Prices go up $250 November 14th. DESCRIPTION:The first race of the 2024/2025 Crescent Ski Council Race Series was to be held at Appalachian Mountain\, NC\, on December 21st and 22nd. It was canceled due to poor racing conditions. The second race is scheduled for January 11th and 12th 2025\, at Sugar Mountain NC.  Racing begins at 9:00. Come out and support our racers!

SUMMARY:Iceland Adventure Trip (May 19-28 2024)
DESCRIPTION:Crescent Ski Council will sponsor an Adventure Trip to Iceland May19 – May 28\, 2024. Registration will open June 1\, 2023 utilizing the link on the flyer.  More details to come but this will surely be an Epic trip full of fun and comradery with your ETMM & CSC friends. Pencil in the date and start saving your pennies for this one.  Lisa Beregi will send out info in an email but you can also contact Collette (the tour operator) at https://gateway.gocollette.com/link/1178779 for additional information.  Lots of interesting activities including geothermal greenhouses\, black sand beaches\, hikes behind waterfalls\, and the famous Thingvellir National Park. \nAir: Collette can quote it out of ANY departure gateway. The rate in the package is good for these Crescent gateways: ATL\, AVL\, BNA\, BHM\, CLT\, CHS\, CRW\, ECP\, GSO\, GSP\, HSV\, RDU\, and TYS. For those out of smaller regional gateways such as TRI\, CHA\, Augusta\, Columbia\, Myrtle Beach\, Winston Salem\, etc. they can quote you out of your local gateway and add it to the standard price if that is what the guest wants. Airport: on the registration form there are three options: air from TYS (default based on the contract)\, no air and “preferred airport”. They must put in their preferred airport\, and the cost will calculate the same as long as it is from one of the 13 cities listed above. If they prefer an alternate city and put it in\, Collette will contact them to let them know if there is a price difference.\n3. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you add what club you are with onto the online form. There is no specific place to do this\, so we need participants to write in their club in one of the available lines: Special Occasion or Dietary Restrictions as shown below from the registration.\n4. If a participant is a single and does not have a known roommate but is looking to be paired up by Crescent\, they need to register as a single. Crescent will be reviewing the registrations periodically and pairing these up. Once they are paired \, the two single registrations will be merged and pricing will change to the double cost for each registrant.\n5. Our price $4898 includes the travel insurance. The registration form has to give the individual the option not to take it\, so the form looks like the deposit is $698 and then when you “purchase” travel insurance at $499\, you get the $1147 deposit Crescent is advertising. \n
